Description: "Kwagiulth Komakwa" or Chief Of The Sea signed and dated Tony Hunt Jr./2002. This hand carved cedar mask is 20"x18"x8". He is a renowned carver on Vancouver Island and is of the Kwakwaka'Wakw first Nation. He learned the art of carving from his maternal grandfather Mungo Martin and his father Henry Hunt, both considered master carvers on Vancouver Island.
