Clinch began his career as an intern of Annie Leibovitz and went on to photograph the likes of Johnny Cash, Bruce Springstein, Bjork, and Tom Waits. His "unobtrusive" style is appreciated by his subjects. His photos have appeared in Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Spin, and The New York Times.
