Leland Bell was born in 1953 on Manitoulin
Island, Ontario. An Ojibwa-Odwana by birth, Bell prefers to identify
himself as an Anishanabe artist. His paintings use stylized human
figures showing the affinity of family or friends, often depicting
imagery of nurturing, learning, and serenity. Redkettle's "Building a Wall" captures the peace and strength Spirit Beings find working together. Harmony personified.
Very inspirational art.
