David Stephens was a mechanic before turning his hand to painting in 1985 and has been at it full time since 1992. His whimsical art captures the life and color of coastal life in Nova Scotia. He has become on the province's most popular folk artists. Redkettle was lucky to find one of his rare oil Abstracts. His painted "Car Door Art" has been purchased by The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia for their permanent collection.
