Alyne Harris grew up in rural Gainsville, Florida. As a child she would draw in the mud beside the cemetery always aware of the "haints" close by. She paints of her rural surrounding, Church, and family on canvas and paper. Her work is included in many private and public collections.

Her paintings will bring a smile to your heart. She has little regard for perspective and depth which only adds to it's charm and gentle magic in her work.
